Introducing the ParkWorld.be initiative, here is where you'll find insights and an overview about who we are, what we do and of course all about our history .

ParkWorld.be launched in 2008 to complete Zoo.be and elaborate with insights and worthy information about theme parks and animal parks beyond commercial initiatives.

With a vast experience of over 100 theme park visits ParkWorld.be is not just "yet another themepark fan site on the Web".
In the first place, we aim to provide information and insight about the diversity of theme parks in Europe and abroad, based on the experience of our globetrotter visits.

As co-founder of ThemeParkVision, which launched on Jan 1st 2001, as member and former chairman of the Rollercoaster Friends and as a mere concequence of my globe trotting profession, I had the occasion to build up a treasure of information, pictures and know hows about the theme parks I visited and the people I was priviliged to have conversations with.

With the in-depths Parkworld.be has to offer, I hope to fascinate the theme park enthousiast as well as a wider audience that is merelly planning to make a visit to a theme park of choice really worth while . After I abandonned ThemeParkVision for reasons of my own, so many voices encouraged me to start a new initiative to cover the growing lack of added value beyond the mere pasting of press releases. So I decided to share that information again with the community.

Parkworld.be aims to provide an independent and objectivated spotlight on theme parks of all sizes and focus, generally from a positive point of view, but also with a critical note in the most constructive context we can think of. 
It is not a forum, nor a theme park fan club, as there are several initiatives covering those grounds.
We certainly hope to pass along our passion and enthousiasm and we might even convince you to visit a park that you did not consider before.

Parkworld.be is a non profit website. Despite the fact that the entire project has grown as a hobby, this website is getting the seriousness and quality required to bring you the added value we are so eager to share. We welcome your suggestions and remarks. As any other website intitiative of this level, there are some smaller and some serious costs to cover for technology up to travel expenses and we very much welcome any kind of financial support that would enable us to achieve the targets we have set ourselves. We humbly thank you for your donation, however small.

Our website is also proud to be part of an alliance of themepark fansites and enthousiasts to make this and other websites more interesting and entertaining.
As for its management, we have chosen to operate as a one-man-team and to collaborate with other passionate people, who are savant about their postings and announcements. We greatfully thank the crews of Parksmania, Rollercoaster.be, WalibiWorld.nl, dlrpfans, BJL-fansite, Plopsafansite, Magic & Fun, Laafse Kikkers, and more, for sharing resources.  To all those friends of new and old times, who occasionally lend a hand to help out, a bow of greatfulness. And finally we wish to thank the theme parks and zoos in particular for their trust, confidence and for the way we collaborate, since these relations enable us to provide you the quality content we envision.
